Creation of Time

Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said, let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7 And God made the firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

As you can see in verse 7, the firmament was created to divide the waters in half, some above it and some below it, so it creates a void in the midst that resembles a pocket (or better described as a bubble). In verse 8, YAH calls this creation that separates the two, ‘Heaven’. At this stage the realm of where humans will eventually reside has just been created, no land nor water is occupying it, it is an empty space, not even light has a presence in the newly formed inhabitance. The only light and darkness that is mentioned at this stage is in verse 3, when YAH says ‘let there be light’, he then divides the light from the darkness and goes forth to call the light day and the darkness night. This can only be interpreted as one thing (you must remember though, the dwelling of man has only just been formed, nothing inside of that realm has been created only the structure). Heaven has its own light source and darkness and a means to time keeping, as on the second day the firmament was created, the sun and moon are not yet created, our concept of time is controlled by the luminaries of the sky.

Continuing…

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering of the waters called the Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is, upon the earth: and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

14 And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

On the fourth day YAH created the lights of man’s inhabitance and placed them in the firmament. In verse 15 you can see that the luminaries were created to provide light on our habitancy, to depict specific times and signs. So, as we can see, four days have passed yet the sun and moon have only just been created, this is concrete proof that heaven has its own time keeping, separate from earth.

So, with this being understood and explained in the holy scriptures, what does this mean you may ask? It means something far greater than what you may perceive at this moment. Allow me to open your eyes and unveil something that has been hidden from you, after all, you are an innocent party in this spiritual warfare and are to be made whole again in the image of perfection. Now we acknowledge heaven and earth have their own timekeeping, why would YAH segregate us from keeping time in unison with heaven? Is it because we are not as holy as him? Or perhaps we are millions of ‘lightyears’ away? I cannot provide you with a definitive answer as I am not the one who created it, but what I can do, is provide you with an understanding and a biblically educated comprehension into the reason why. Here are some bible scriptures to show these important days.

Genesis 1
14 And God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

Genesis 2
3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Exodus 20
8 ‘Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labour and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore, the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Exodus 30
12 Then the Lord said to Moses, 13 ‘Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.14 ‘‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do any work on that day must be cut off from their people. 15 For six days work is to be done, but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death. 16 The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. 17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’’

1 Chronicles 23
30
They are to stand every morning to thank and to praise the Lord, and likewise at evening, 31 and to offer all burnt offerings to the Lord, on the sabbaths, the new moons and the fixed festivals in the number set by the ordinance concerning them, continually before the Lord.

Psalm 8
3
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained.

Psalm 81
3
Blow the trumpet at the new moon, At the full moon, on our feast day.

2 Chronicles 2
4 Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, dedicating it to Him, to burn fragrant incense before Him and to set out the showbread continually, and to offer burnt offerings morning and evening, on sabbaths and on new moons and on the appointed feasts of the Lord our God, this being required forever in Israel.

2 Chronicles 8
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord which he had built before the porch; 13 and did so according to the daily rule, offering them up according to the commandment of Moses, for the sabbaths, the new moons and the three annual feasts—the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Booths.

The scriptures above are only a handful out of hundreds of scriptures that explain the incredible importance of keeping our fathers holy days at the appointed times.
Exodus 30:17 says ‘forever’, why would YAH say forever if he knew he was going to ‘do away with it’? We will touch more on this topic in Part 3, when we discuss the doing away of the commandments and sabbaths.
